Yeimi Paola Arrieta Ramos repeated the feat. The arjonera, who was Queen Infantil in 2007, has just been crowned as the winner of the Major Accordion category in the 53rd edition of the Vallenata Legend Festival, which concludes tonight in Valledupar.
Yeimi, 23, competed with two talented performers: Wendy Paola Corzo Carmona and Nataly Yishell Patiño Amarís, but “she came ready to take the crown, and she did it! Dexterity, quality and cadence were, among others, the virtues that led her to triumph, ”said the Festival when giving the news.
The arjonera has competed in the most important vallenato jousts since 2006 and since then has cultivated the admiration of the public and, tonight, of the jury.
Although she was a bit nervous at first, she took control and declined with her presentation.
It should be noted that Yeimi is the only woman with enough talent to be crowned queen twice at the Vallenato Legend Festival: when she was a child and now, in the highest category of her gender.
