Seven injured and some 40 houses affected left a strong explosion that woke up the residents of Calle 92 with Carrera 75A at dawn this Thursday of the Robledo Kennedy neighborhood, commune 7 of Medellin

“Around 3:30 am, a very strong explosion is felt. Upon arrival, the quadrant finds that a three-story house had collapsed, affecting 39 houses in windows and glass. We managed to remove seven people with minor injuries, on patrols, transferred to La María hospital, “said Colonel Daniel Mazo, operational commander of the Aburrá Valley Police.
According to the Administrative Department of Risk Management (Dagrd), “in fact, five people were rescued after the collapse of the structure, including three adults, a young man and a child. Three of these injured were transferred to healthcare centers in the city for their attention and assessment, while the other two were treated on site ”.
“Apparently, the collapse of the structure was caused by an explosion, without determining the causes or the agent that produced it,” added Dagrd.
