The Bogotá Tunja Sogamoso (BTS) road concession preventedly closed the lane of the Tunja highway that leads from the capital of the country to the municipality of Chocontá, in the north of Cundinamarca, due to a landslide that occurred on Wednesday afternoon. .

The collapse of the slope occurred at kilometer 64 + 800 meters, in the sector known as Retiro de Blancos, in Chocontá.
The debris – trees and dirt – covered part of the eastern road of the Tunja highway.
According to the Cundinamarca Traffic and Transportation Police, the landslide occurred at around 4 in the afternoon this Wednesday, and there are already road concession machinery in the area removing the material.
