Spain has extended the mandatory quarantine for passengers that come from Brazil, Peru and Colombia, as well as nine countries in Africa, to prevent the spread of new variants of the coronavirus, according to an order from the Spanish Ministry of Health published this Friday in the Official State Gazette.

During the quarantine, those who arrive in Spain from those countries must remain in their home or accommodation and will limit access to it by third parties.
They will also have to restrict their trips to the essentials: purchase food, pharmaceuticals or basic necessities; assistance to health centers or causes of force majeure.
