Sofía Cadavid: the 18-month-old girl found dead in Rionegro, Antioquia | Latest news – Medellín – Colombia

At 2 am on Friday, December 18, the search for the minor Sofía Cadavid, 18 months old, in the municipality of Rionegro (Antioquia) ended.

The girl’s body was found in a wooded area between the El Llanito and El Porvenir neighborhoods and showed apparent signs of violence, according to preliminary information from the authorities.

From Thursday December 17, the family had reported her missing arguing that the last time she left the house with her father, who did not answer his phone and had not returned to take the minor to the house.

A security camera of an establishment caught the father of the minor with her in his arms –apparently asleep – while buying something and holding a bomb. This would have happened moments before the crime was recorded.

The father was found by the Rionegro Police around midnight on Thursday.

An official source told EL TIEMPO that the father of the minor lIt is revealed where the body of his own 18-month-old daughter was, and this facilitated the finding.

The man was made available to the Antioquia Prosecutor’s Office and could be presented before a guarantee control judge in the next few hours.
