To this proposal there were reactions from people who remind the tycoon that their companies have a policy not to hire people over 50 years of age, so that retirement at 75 years of age and the generation of supposed new jobs falls off its weight, says Actualidad RT.

Billionaire Carlos Slim, who was once the richest man on the planet, launched this initiative not only for Mexico, but for all countries affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The proposal was presented at the XIX Annual Congress of the Spanish Confederation of Directors and Executives (CEDE), this Thursday.

One of the criticisms of users of social networks is that how does it occur to him to propose a pension age of 75 years when the average life in countries like Mexico is 75 years: “Work until you die?”

They also criticized the initiative to work 11 hours in a day, as it would be too heavy, while others referred to the 4 days that they would have off a week as a waste of time.

“It is easy to say when you are the richest man in Mexico,” said another user quoted by Actualidad RT.
