A 53-second video released by the Spanish Police shows the moments of panic experienced by the residents of the sector, so it would be a reckoning between rival gangs, last Thursday around 9:30 pm, local time.
The recording, taken from a high floor of one of the buildings at the intersection of Hermanos Gómez and Los Collados streets, in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood, reported El País.
The images begin with several people gathered in that corner and seconds later the first shot is heard. Some flee from there, one of them with a stick in his hand, while others come to respond to the attack.
The most obvious is a young man dressed in a white shirt and black pants who shoots at least four times in a span of 5 seconds and then approaches a white car parked there and apparently leaves the gun inside, and then walks away calmly.
At the same time, another young man walks covering his head with a sack, as if he had been injured, although the authorities did not report seriously injured treated after the shooting.
🚨 They send us some very worrying images. It would be a shooting in Ciudad Lineal #Madrid.
🔫Presumably it is a reckoning between gangs.
⚠️The bands are a PROBLEM that must be tackled with the utmost forcefulness.

However, there were material damages. At least two cars were hit by the bullets, as well as a facade and a tree. The Scientific Police came to collect evidence, and found “a large stick and a knife,” the media reported.
This medium detailed that everything started with a fight in a pub close to there. “After the brawl, several young people have fled the premises while being pursued by other people,” said El Mundo.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez, spoke this Saturday about the scene to qualify it as a “serious incident” and asked to accelerate the investigation, El País cited:
“We know that they were very violent incidents between two Latino gangs and we are working to clarify the facts and prevent them from occurring in the future.”
Meanwhile, the inhabitants of the area showed their concern and a woman told the press: “Now we have a bit of a scare. I’ve been here in this neighborhood for three years and nothing like this has ever happened “.
