The senator Ivan Marulanda, one of the founders of New Liberalism, together with the murdered leader Luis Carlos Galán, announced this Tuesday that he will compete within his party, the Green Alliance, as the presidential candidate for the 2022 elections.
This was notified in a letter that he sent to the Citizen Commitment Movement, of the candidate and former governor of Antioquia Sergio Fajardo, whom he had accompanied in his political project for the last 10 years.

The political leader also assured that, ” Citizen Commitment has its path that I understand and that it has not wanted to confuse with another like the one I have taken ”.
