SENA’s Director of Vocational Training, Farid Figueroa, expressed “The main objective of English Dot Works is to strengthen the linguistic and communicative skills in English of Colombians, which will open doors in their work and daily life and provide them with solid bases to obtain a second language “
The course consists of ten levels of studies that progressively increase in difficulty, starting from beginner to developing an intermediate knowledge and command of the language.

With this, the student is expected to complete the process with comprehension skills for oral and written texts in English, as well as the ability to interact in different contexts.
Each of the levels, which last for a month and a half, requires a different registration, that is, once one is completed, one does not automatically go to the next.
One of the main advantages of this system is that people with a slightly more advanced command of the language will not necessarily have to take all the cycles but will be able to start from the level that suits them best.
