A couple was attacked on their way home. It is about a man and a woman who, according to the authorities, were conducting a business with a sale of vehicles. Last night, when they were going to finalize it, the counterpart never arrived.
The couple decided to return home and at the height of the Capellanía neighborhood, on 21st Street with Carrera 88A, two individuals who were riding a motorcycle attacked them with a firearm. The woman was shot in the abdomen and although she was transferred to a hospital, she died due to the severity of the wound.
“We get a report that shots were fired, the patrol immediately moved, arrived at the scene. There were two people in the vehicle, one of them shot in the abdomen, “explained Colonel Marcel Calixto Villarte, inspection officer of the Bogotá Police.
The authorities are investigating whether the homicide is related to the business that the couple was developing with a person who sells vehicles and motorcycles in the free zone.
The attack occurred around eight o’clock at night on Wednesday, September 16. The Police confirmed that the couple had been summoned in the free zone to close the business with more than seventy million pesos.
“They supposedly came from the negotiation of some vehicles, and that is already available. The man is totally unharmed and we are waiting for the judicial police to interview him ”, added the Colonel.
For now, investigators are gathering video from security cameras in the area and gathering testimony from potential witnesses.
