Sebastián Yatra is criticized for photos with squirrel monkey

Sebastián Yatra is in the eye of the hurricane for a few photos he posted with a squirrel monkey.

The singer has been harshly criticized on social networks for the images and accused of animal abuse.

Yatra shared on Facebook three photos at her home in Miami showing her mother and a squirrel monkey that seems to be his pet, as he calls him Kabu.

The Secretary of the Environment of Bogotá expressed her dissatisfaction through Twitter, referring to animal abuse due to the possession of wild species as pets.

“If Sebastián were in Bogotá, an operation from the Ministry of the Environment would be going home to confiscate Kabu, confine him, recover him and try to get him to regain the necessary capacities to return to freedom. Don’t be like sebastian”, Said Carolina Urrutia.

The Colombian deleted the publication after negative comments from followers, animal defenders and public figures, such as actress Carolina Guerra.
