Rafael Santos Borré returned to play with River Plate after six months and did so with an outstanding performance personally. The Colombian scored the 1 to 1 partial against Sao Paulo in the match of the third date of the Copa Libertadores.
His team started losing very quickly, by an own goal by Enzo Pérez at minute 9. However, at minute 18, the scorer took advantage of a very good collective move in which he was able to finish off alone in front of the goal to tie the score.
The team led by Marcelo Gallardo was better at the Morumbi stadium and went ahead after Julián Álvarez scored in the 80th minute. But the Argentines did not take the three points from Brazil for another own goal that gave the locals the tie, which was led by defender Fabrizio Angileri.
This is Borré’s second goal in this edition of the Libertadores, after will score in the 8-0 win against Binacional de Peru.
