The Colombian Geological System reported an earthquake of 4.9 at 9:48 at night that felt strong in Santander.
Users of social networks indicate that they felt the strong movement in cities such as Bucaramanga, Floridablanca, Girón and Piedecuesta.
Risk Management authorities are doing a sweep to identify possible structural damage.
