Robledo officially left the Polo – Political Parties – Politics

With a majority vote, The delegates of the Alternative Democratic Pole approved the split or separation of the party of Senator Jorge Enrique Robledo and the Moir sector.

According to the president of the Polo, Álvaro Argote, 417 of the 422 delegates who participated voted to approve the departure of the congressman, the most voted of that community in 2018.

Argote also affirmed that Senator Robledo will continue to occupy his seat in Congress, for which he obtained 226,099 supports, according to the National Registry.

Regarding legal status, which allows a party to receive state funding and endorse candidates for the elections, this was the head of the Polo Robledo and his sector would have to seek legal mechanisms to achieve this recognition.
