River Plate from Uruguay got the classification to the round of 16 of the South American Cup. Defeated 3-1 a National Athletic on the Wanderers field in Montevideo.
The first goal came after five minutes, when Matías Arezo scored after a serious error by Nacional at the start, due to a bad change of front by Brayan Córdoba.

Arezo himself scored the second at 26, in another terrible failure of Nacional’s defense: he took a return and put it through the post that goalkeeper Aldair Quintana covered.
Jefferson Duque discounted for Nacional in the 34th minute, with a strong shot with his right foot.
On a corner kick, Piriz won a ball in the area and scored the third.
The Uruguayan team will face the winner of the series between Universidad Católica, from Chile, and Sol de América, from Paraguay.
