Ciciliano began to stand out in football in 1993, when he was part of the team that won the South American Under-17 that year, led by Germán ‘Basílica’ González.

That same year he made his professional debut at Deportivo Pereira. Then he passed through Tolima, Bucaramanga, Pasto and Quindío, before returning to Ibagué, where he was a key piece for the first title of the vinotinto y oro in A, in 2003.

From Tolima he went to Cali, where he was also crowned champion of the League, in 2005-II. Then he was hired by Millonarios, a club in which he scored two milestones: the first, he saved a penalty against Jaime Castrillón, in the home runs of the 2006-II League.
