29.3% of the cases reported in Colombia of covid-19 are in Bogotá. In the city there have been 605,731 cases of which 3,147 were confirmed on January 28, 2021.
Of the total accumulated cases, 52.7% are women and the highest concentration of cases according to age is between 20 and 49 years old with a percentage weight of 60.8%.

Starting this Saturday at midnight and Until next February 12 at midnight quarantine is declared in nine UPZ that have the highest number of infections. This is what happens in each of them.
Usaquén town: Los Cedros
Usaquén presents 7.1% of the cases, that is, about 39,461. In this town there are 21,143 infected women and 18,318 men. According to the local mayor’s office, this UPZ is the one with the most active cases at this time in the town.
According to the local mayor of Usaquén, with data from the North Sub-Network, UPZ Cedros had a total of 7,664 accumulated cases, 584 active and 181 deaths as of January 23.

Suba town: Tibabuyes, Suba, El Rincón
Suba has 15.0% of the cases in the city, that is, about 83,434. In this town there are 44,948 infected women and 38,450 men. The mayor of the town Julián Moreno Barón has explained that of the total number of cases, the UPZ that enter confinement have 70% of the active cases.
UPZ Rincón has 270,005 inhabitants (Dane 2018) and 29,944 over 60 years old. 52.3% live in rent. It concentrates 40.7% of stratum 2 and 92% of stratum 1 of the town. There are 15,409 companies and 12,260 commercial establishments. 53.7% of people do not contribute a pension.
UPZ Suba has 162,322 inhabitants and 18,182 people over 60 years of age. 45.1% live in rent. It concentrates 14.7% of stratum 2 and 4% of stratum 1 of the town.
The UPZ Tibabuyes has 266,247 inhabitants and 21,728 older adults. 52.3% lived in rent. It concentrates 42% of stratum 2 of the town. There are 9,372 companies and 6,778 commercial establishments.

Engativá town: Boyacá Real and Garcés Navas
Engativá has 11.5%, that is, 63,559. In this town there are 33,857 infected women and 29,702 men. In particular, the UPZ Boyacá Real has a transmissibility index of 1.35 and there are 117 cases. And in the UPZ Garcés Navas, the transmissibility index corresponds to 2.08 and we have 117 cases.
As the figures show, the speed of contagion is high and hence the importance of this special isolation. “With this measure we hope to take care of the lives of the nearly 300 thousand citizens who live in these two UPZs. We know that the effort is great and success will depend on the collective commitment to responsible isolation and self-care,” said local mayor Angela María Brown. He added: “I invite you once again not to lower your guard, not only in these areas, but throughout the town. Starting tomorrow and until the end of the quarantine there will be a permanent PMU and coordination with the police. There will also be four control points permanent and citizen culture campaigns for self-care.

Kennedy town: Castilla y Timiza
Kennedy has 13.5% of the cases, that is, 74,553. In this town there are 39,779 infected women and 34,774 men. According to the local Kennedy mayor’s office, UPZ Castilla has 693 active cases with a cutoff to January 25 and 169 deaths. For its part, that of Timiza, registers 603 active cases with court on January 25 and 233 deaths.
Fontibón town: Fontibón
Fontibón has 28,641. In this town there are 15,224 infected women and 13,417 men.
