It should be noted that since they are closed places where a significant number of people congregate, cinemas and theaters are considered by health authorities and scientific research as high risk for the transmission of the new coronavirus Sars-CoV-2.
Now, the document of the Ministry repeals Resolution 1408 and one of the main novelties that it presents is the disposition of the chairs to keep the distance, ensuring that the spaces for each individual attendant or for groups are clearly marked and delimited.

It is emphasized that viewers they should not eat food anywhere other than their seat or location, or on foot. “And it is the responsibility of the operators to guarantee the above and that in the places where the scenic activity is carried out there are special bars for food consumption and that the distance of two meters between consumers is complied with,” says the Ministry.

Other measures to take into account are constant cleaning and disinfection in areas with high traffic for attendants and workers, such as lockers, auditoriums, chairs, bathrooms, and food and beverage outlets and consumption areas.
Likewise, entry and evacuation areas must be regulated and demarcated, in which lines maintain a minimum distance of two meters between people to avoid crowds. The locations, in addition, must continue to be permanently and sufficiently provided with potable water, liquid soap and disposable towels for hand washing, among other provisions.
