After the chaotic day that took place this Wednesday, September 9, and before the announcement of 15 mobilizations for this Thursday, in some sectors of Bogotá there are already sit-ins.

One of these peaceful protests occurs in the North Portal, where a large number of people are already present. This has been reported by some citizens on social networks.

That is why TransMilenio announced the cancellation of the articulated operation to this part of the capital.

“The operation in the North Portal is canceled and due to demonstrations unrelated to the operation, the Alquería station is closed,” the authorities reported.

In other parts of Bogotá there are excesses between protesters and the Police.

Let us remember that the Minister of Defense, Carlos Holmes Trujillo, announced the militarization of the capital, with the arrival of 300 soldiers from the Army’s 13th Brigade and 850 policemen from other parts of the country.

The minister also reported that after the excesses presented this Wednesday, there were seven deaths in total in the capital.
