The legendary Vallenata music singer Tomás Alfonso ‘Poncho’ Zuleta Díaz fell from a horse on his farm ‘Mi Salvation’ located in Astrea (Cesar).
“He suffered a blow to his right shoulder, which had already undergone surgery on another occasion after an accident. Because of this background, the plate that was initially placed on it was bent. Several studies will be carried out to find out what this new procedure will be like ”, explained the general surgeon, Guillemo Girón, the artist’s family doctor

The accident occurred this Wednesday, it was known that he also has a fracture in one of his arms, so he will be operated on in the next few hours at the Valledupar Clinic, in the capital of Cesar.
It is not the first time that the artist has faced this type of accident, in 2009 he also suffered a similar accident, on that occasion he presented injuries to the left intercostal, for which he had to postpone several musical presentations.
In 2016, the singer suffered a severe fall from the stage at a concert that took place in Bucaramanga.
“We have the full conviction that he will recover soon from this accident, for something they call it ‘The Golden Lung’. Precisely today Valledupar celebrates its anniversary, and from where it is, it will draw strength to sing to this beautiful city that has welcomed it with love ”, said the composer, Gustavo Gutiérrez Cabello.
