On the night of this Good Friday an event was recorded that altered the order and tranquility of this date in the north of Bogotá, in the town of Usaquén. Neighbors who were tired of the noise that a group of people was generating at an illegal party, decided to call the authorities.

A group of police officers approached the scene, but once there, they were attacked with stones, sticks and other blunt objects. In the midst of this backlash, one of these people was injured by one of his party companions.

Colonel Nelson Quiñónez, deputy commander of the Bogotá Police,
referred to this fact. He reported that a person was captured for disturbing public order and for having attacked the uniformed men who arrived at the site.

And the president, Iván Duque, said: “We express our rejection of the aggression suffered by Bogotá Metropolitan Police units while dismantling a clandestine party in Usaquén. These are irresponsible acts that threaten the majority of Colombians who abide by measures to confront Covid-19, ”said the president.
