On the night of Saturday October 10, a young man was killed after a police officer operated his firearm, apparently, in legitimate defense when attacked with a knife.
The Cundinamarca Police released videos of what happened in the El Verganzo village, Tocancipá, where around 8:00 pm the altercation took place.

The authorities indicated that the events are the subject of investigation, although they emphasize that the aggressor would be in “a high degree of exaltation and under the influence of alcoholic beverages.”
According to the security camera record, the young man He attacked a member of the authorities with a sharp weapon in the chest and face, during the application of a procedure for disturbance to public order.
A few minutes before, the deceased had starred in a fight in a residential complex (see video), where the guards decided to contact the quadrant to control the situation.
