Police rejected the death of two uniformed men in Córdoba

The National Police reported that on the morning of this Saturday they found the bodies of Subintendent Milton Eliécer Flórez Arcila and patrolman David Leonardo Bustamante Sánchez, who were part of the ‘Agamemnon II Police Campaign’.

“The National Police of all Colombians laments and vehemently rejects the events that occurred in the municipality of Puerto Libertador (Córdoba), around 6:45 am today, in the Corozalito district,” said the institution.

According to preliminary information, the members of the Institution were carrying out investigative work against organized crime in the area, when hours later they appeared lifeless.

For this case, the Institution appointed a high-level investigative group to carry out the activities to collect information and evidence that will make it possible to clarify the causes of the event and find those responsible.

It is worth mentioning that the organized armed groups ‘Clan del Golfo’ and ‘Los Caparros’ commit crimes in that area of ​​the country.

Subintendent Milton Flórez had been at the service of the institution for 11 years and 10 months and on his life page there are nine decorations and 55 congratulations. The uniformed man left two minor children.

For his part, the patrolman David Bustamante had entered the Institution six years ago and had 13 decorations and 54 congratulations, with his death he left two minor children.

“The National Police stands in solidarity and expresses its heartfelt condolences to the respected family of our soldiers,” the institution said.
