Stevan Andrés Rosero Derazo will have to serve this sentence for sexually abusing a partner in the bathroom of the Mobile Squad of Carabineros de Emcar, in Neiva (Huila).

Stevan Andrés Rosero Derazo was sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexually abusing a colleague in the Mobile Squad of Carabineros de Emcar, in Neiva (Huila). The crime for which Rosero must pay this penalty is violent carnal access, as confirmed by the judge handling the case.

This sentence was delivered by a first criminal judge of the Neiva Circuit with functions of knowledge, after analyzing the oral, medical and documentary evidence presented in the oral trial by a prosecutor of the Center for Comprehensive Attention to Victims of Sexual Abuse and the defense of the whistleblower.

These events, according to the plaintiff, occurred on November 12, 2013 and occurred in one of the bathrooms of the mobile squad to which both belonged. It all happened when the victim was in the bathroom and felt the lights go out. Rosero entered the cubicle where the complainant was, hit him in the mouth, threatened him and abused him.

At this moment the authorities are looking for Rosero to capture and transfer him to a prison, as ordered by the judge. During the oral trial the accused did not acknowledge the facts and said that they had had a sexual relationship, but that it had been consensual.

This testimony was discredited by the same judge because, since there was violence before having sexual relations, it is understood that the other person was subjected to have it. In addition, the complainant confirmed that there was a struggle when his partner entered the bathroom.
