Police launches campaign with flyers to locate members of ‘Segunda Marquetalia’ – Conflict and Drug Trafficking – Justice

The National Police launched a campaign to publicize the millionaire rewards offered by the members of the group that calls itself the ‘Second Marquetalia’, whose bosses are the aliases Iván Márquez, Jesús Santrich, Henry Castellanos and Paisa.

For them, the Government offers up to three billion pesos for information that facilitates its location and capture. Of the former guerrilla leaders, it is stated that they are hiding in Venezuelan territory.

Colonel Darío Enrique López, the commander of the Police in Arauca, a border area with Venezuela, told EL TIEMPO that he seeks to promote a campaign with the delivery of some flyers that simulate being tickets with the value of the rewards that are offered by the members of the criminal structure ‘Second Marquetalia’, to achieve “information on the heads and collaborators of the dissent“

“This campaign also seeks to prevent the development of terrorist actions against the civilian population and the Public Force and contribute to better security and coexistence in the country,” said Colonel López.

The police commander in Arauca said that the flyer (ticket) has the photograph of the leaders of the network and the amount of the reward; pointed out that one of the objectives of advertising is to generate in the collective and individual imagination of people “access to these tickets “to motivate them to provide information.

The official pointed out that the flyers have been delivered in market places, supermarkets, checkpoints and where there is an influx of people, without breaking the mandatory isolation.
