One of the most recent operations allowed the capture of alias Osama, the most feared murderer in the town of San Cristóbal Sur.
According to the authorities alias Osama was leading a band called ‘The Odyssey’ and he has more than seven records of homicide, possession of firearms, escape of prisoners, theft, threats and drug trafficking. The capture of alias Osama was achieved thanks to investigations derived from the death of two women that occurred at the end of September, apparently due to a large debt that he did not want to pay them.
Investigators established that alias Osama also disguised himself as a woman occasionally as part of their strategy to try to elude authorities.
Osama is also accused of ending the life of his friend, because apparently, he had devised a plan with the purpose of taking away the power of the territory for the sale of hallucinogens.
According to police investigations, other people made up the band ‘The Odyssey’, a man they nicknamed ‘Moe’, who had become ‘Osama’s right hand man’.
In total, four people were captured: ‘Osama’, ‘Martha’, ‘Ciego’ and ‘Blanca’, thus dismantling the criminal structure of ‘Los Osama’. A revolver and a kilo of marijuana were seized from them and they were charged with the crimes of aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, homicide and forced disappearance.
