The district administration renewed the vehicle restriction scheme in Bogota with a measure focused not only on reducing congestion but in the promotion of the efficient use of private vehicles on city roads.

As of this Tuesday, September 22, the restriction begins for the circulation of private vehicles, from Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 to 8:30 in the morning and from 4:00 in the afternoon to 7:30 at night.

According to the Ministry of Mobility, Saturday was included considering the shifts for the economic activities contemplated in District Decree 193 of 2020.

Additionally, due to the high levels of congestion that occurred on this day before the pandemic.

Private vehicles will be exempted from the measure with three or more passengers (including the driver), hybrids and dedicated.
