In dialogue with La W, former senator Piedad Córdoba said she knew who ordered the assassination of Álvaro Gómez Hurtado and said that has evidence to prove it, which he will present to the Truth Commission.
The former congresswoman said that “it is incredible that people who had nothing to do with that event had gone to jail” and said that she does not believe in the version of an alliance between politicians and drug traffickers to assassinate Gomez.
“I have clear and forceful information. It would be good if those who did what they did tell the truth,” he said.
This statement comes after a trill made by Córdoba when there was a meeting between leaders of the Farc party and members of the past government.
