‘Pico y cédula’ in Cali for this Saturday, December 26

The peak and ID in Cali for this December 26 restricts entry to commercial and banking establishments to those with an identity document ending in odd numbers.

The measure was re-implemented since last December 16 and will be in force until next January 4, 2021, by determination of the Mayor’s Office to avoid crowds in the holiday season.

With this restriction, the authorities seek to curb the speed of contagion of covid-19 in the city, given the high number of cases that are reported every day and the risk of more positives during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

This Friday, those with an ID ending in an even digit (2, 4, 6, 8 and 0) can enter, as established in the standard.

The measure was consigned in decree 4112.010.20.2130 of 2020, issued by Mayor Jorge Iván Ospina.
