Cali will have a curfew, dry law and peak of identity card until January 4, this was announced this Wednesday by the mayor of Cali, Jorge Iván Ospina.
The measures will govern at the same time as they have since December 16, except for next Sunday, December 27, the day of the Colombian soccer final between Santa Fe and America.
“With the exception of Sunday 27, the other days the prohibition law begins at 10:00 pm and the curfew, at 11:00 pm,” explained the mayor.
It is expected that in the next few hours the official decree will be known in which more details about the measures will be given.
These restrictions seek to help curb the speed of contagion of covid-19 in the city, regarding the increase in cases in recent days not only in the region, but throughout the country.
“The second peak of the pandemic knocks on Colombia’s doorstep and demands greater activity from all of society,” said Mayor Ospina at a press conference.
