Their modus operandi, said on Blu Radio the commander of the Transmilenio Police, Colonel José Óscar Jaramillo, is that one marks the person they are going to rob, another two carry out the robbery, and the last one opens the doors of the article to flee.
The authorities were able to identify those named thanks to security camera videos from the Transmilenio bus, which they recorded when one of the criminals stabs Oswaldo Muñoz because he resisted the robbery.
They also used recordings from the Calle 85 station, on the northern trunk, where the thieves are seen getting off the bus that was robbed.
The uniformed man assured the station that they are now conducting an investigation to find the whereabouts of those responsible for this crime, for whom a reward of up to 20 million pesos was offered.
The criminals, according to Commander Jaramillo, had just emerged from a group of robbers, and had been committing crimes in Bogotá’s transportation system for a month.
The authorities already had a spoken portrait of one of those involved in the homicide, and now they publish the following photo of those allegedly responsible:
Transmilenio, together with the authorities, announced at a press conference a reinforcement of police officers in the transport system, taking into account the recent cases of insecurity that occurred; one of them was that of the ticket office of the Ciudad Universitaria station stabbed.
