“You cannot go against the will of the population either”, remarked Valdez, who was one of the legislators who voted for the removal of Vizcarra that allowed Merino to take command and unleashed the political and social crisis in Peru.
Unanimous demand

“Mr. Manuel Merino, put an end to your adventure, #RenuncieYa. Popular Action does not support you either. It has stained the lamp”AP Secretary General Mesías Guevara said in a message on Twitter, in which he alluded to the symbol of the political party founded by two-time Peruvian President Fernando Belaunde.

“They close the streets, turn off the lights, take out tanks, shoot pellets, this is more than a dictatorship because it threatens the lives of thousands of Peruvians,” denounced the presidential candidate.
