Deportivo Pereira lost 1-2 with Independent Santa Fe, on the ninth date of the League. The game was played behind closed doors at the Hernán Ramírez Villegas stadium, due to the pandemic of COVID-19.
Fainer Torijano, 15 minutes into the first half, put the visitors ahead, with a header after a corner kick from Venezuelan Luis Manuel Seijas.
At 20, the experienced Diego Álvarez took a rebound after a center from the left to finish off, beat Leandro Castellanos and tie the game.
The debutant Jersson González, headed again, scored 1-2 for Santa Fe, at 37 of the second stage, after a qualification of Carlos Arboleda.
Santa Fe is now second in the standings, with 16 points, taking into account that the game between Nacional and Tolima (leader with the same units) was not played due to problems with the biosafety protocol.
