With the aim of recognizing the work of nearly 230,000 health workers of 190 professional profiles that face the covid-19 pandemic, the Administrator of the Resources of the General System of Social Security in Health (Adres) reported that the first disbursements of the bonus were made this Thursday to the human talent that attends the pandemic.

The first to receive the pilot payment were 407 workers from the Hospital Universitario del Caribe, in Cartagena for a total amount of $ 601 million.
798 workers reported by the Hospital Universitario del Caribe and the Hospital Departamental Universitario Santa Sofía de Caldas will then receive these extraordinary payments, in values that depend on the profiles of each one, sAccording to the conditions established in circular 48 and resolution 1774. The first draft was for $ 1,171 million.

All the resources for this extraordinary recognition were guaranteed by the Emergency Mitigation Fund (FOME), which means that there is already the entire budget that will be transferred through direct money transfers to the beneficiaries.
It is estimated that there may be between 40,000 and 50,000 daily bank transfers, for which all hospitals, clinics and territorial entities are expected.
“In Cartagena we announced what we had promised last week, it comes true today with the first shift of recognition and bonus resources for our human talent in health, which has been working to combat the covid-19 pandemic “said the Minister of Health, Fernando Ruiz.
Among the beneficiary profiles are nursing and administrative assistants, anesthesiologists, intensivists, general practitioners, bacteriologists, personnel in compulsory social service, nutritionists, therapists, among others.

Ruiz defined this operation as the largest that Adres has made and recalled that all payments will be made by Adres directly to the registered personal bank account of each worker.
