Before boarding the respective flight to the Colombian capital, Deportivo Pasto’s squad had to go through a trail because the road that leads from the ‘volcanic’ city to the airport was closed due to a landslide, product of heavy rains.
In several videos, recorded by some witnesses to the event and disseminated on social networks, you can see how the footballers had to walk along an uncovered path, with suitcases on his shoulder.
“This is how Deportivo Pasto players go through the collapse on the Chachagüi road to get to the airport and travel to Bogotá”, Diego Fernando Bravo, a journalist from Nariño, wrote on his Twitter account.
The ‘volcanic’ set, meanwhile, has not officially ruled so far regarding this inconvenience suffered by the professional staff. Similarly, it has not confirmed whether the players reached the capital.
Due to the tight schedule, the game schedule between Equidad Seguros and Deportivo Pasto for the first round of the South American Cup will not be modified. The commitment will take place this Thursday at 7:30 pm.
