There is a commotion in the department of Córdoba over the crime of Taniusca Romero Cibaja, a 12-year-old girl who was killed by men from the narco-paramilitary group called “Los Caparros”, in the rural area of ​​Montelíbano, in the south of that department.

The crime of the minor took place this Monday afternoon in the Loma de La Candelilla sector, via Cerromatoso, while she was taking a bike ride with her aunt Melisa María Romero, 27 years old and owner of a hardware store in Montelíbano ; who was also killed.

According to the Córdoba Police Department, next to the bodies of the two victims a sign was found with the slogan “BVPA Present”, which belongs to the Virgilio Peralta Arenas Bloc of the “Los Caparros” narco-paramilitary group that operates in that area and blood and fire disputes drug trafficking routes with their former allies from the Clan del Golfo in southern Córdoba and Bajo Cauca.

The authorities carry out the rigorous investigations to determine the motives for this double crime that fills the department of Córdoda with pain and deepens the serious public order situation in that area of ​​Colombia, where less than a week ago the president of the Council was also assassinated Municipal of San José de Uré, Yony Valdes.

Hours later, on the same night of September 10, the social leader Cristóbal Ramos, who was the President of the Community Action Board of that sector, was assassinated in the Villa Clémen neighborhood of the same municipality.

After the news of the double crime was known, the governor of Córdoba, Orlando Benítez, spoke through the social network Twitter, repudiating the fact and asking the authorities for speed in the investigation to find those responsible.
