A few days ago the model, businesswoman and former Miss Colombia Paola Turbay had asked her followers join in prayer for the health of their father, Gabriel Turbay, that he was admitted to the Fundación Cardio Infantil due to covid-19.
However, despite the fact that a few days later, Paola Turbay posted a message in which she spoke of an improvement, his father died of the complications derived from the virus.
In a moving message, Paola had made a public request to pray for her father’s health on December 14. His words were accompanied by a selfie that was taken with him a year ago, at the same institution.

“Today, a year later, he is in the emergency room in the same place for Covid-19 and pneumonia. I would like to be with him, but it is impossible. I know they will do the impossible: I know the professionalism of the Foundation and the ethics of the medical team “, he wrote then.
As the days went by, Paola Turbay also shared her feelings on social networks: “Covid-19 is a roller coaster. In just one day you can go from discomfort to some relief, and then feel like you can’t take it anymore.”

In the same publication, he shared his concern about the public’s attitude to the pandemic: “This virus is serious,” he wrote. It is not a “conspiracy” as some believe, nor is it a “gripita” or something that only happens “to others”. It is getting closer and closer and we are increasingly vulnerable.
“I am terribly worried about watching videos of private parties, rivers of people in the corridors of shopping centers and hearing how they plan the end of the year party. It terrifies me to see people with the wrong mask on or not even on as if they were immune“, he indicated.
So far, the businesswoman and actress has not shared any more messages after the one she posted at Christmas.
