They are part of the first 44 people who will now have a house in jail. 19 prisoners are released from prison and will be serving their sentences from home due to the coronavirus emergency.
The Inpec announced that it began the application of the benefit of house for jail for the sanitary emergency, to 44 people who are deprived of liberty.
This measure was taken due to the contingency in Colombia due to the coronavirus outbreak.
They reported that 40 men and 4 women will now pay their sentence from home.
Of this first group, 19 have already left, the remaining 25 will be taken to house arrest in the coming days.
