One of the injured criminals and one of the victims were taken to the Santa Clara hospital.
About this case and other critical situations in Bogotá, the Secretary of Security, Hugo Acero, spoke in an interview with EL TIEMPO. “Three citizens had taken out some resources in Paloquemao and in Restrepo they were approached by two criminals who were on a motorcycle. One of them shoots and wounds one of the citizens who was in the car: the driver of the vehicle reacts quickly and tells him He throws the car on top of the motorcycle. “According to what they say, two of the people who were in the vehicle get out and try to disarm the criminal who had shot. And in that struggle with the same weapon as the criminal, they end up killing one of the two assailants,” added Acero.

Assassination patrolman Edwin Caro
This fact was added to the murder of the Metropolitan Police patrolman, Edwin Caro, in the El Nogal sector, north of Bogotá.
