A security camera recorded the moment a car hit a coconut seller identified as Miguel Segundo Pérez Attendance, 71, on the road leading from the municipality of Puerto Colombia, Atlántico to Barranquilla, The last Sunday.
The driver fled the site and badly injured the informal vendor, who had been working in this trade for 20 years at the entrance to the municipality of Puerto Colombia.

Neighbors of the place when they saw the event, they transferred the man to the Altos de Prado Clinic where he underwent surgery after suffering several fractures in his body. One of them on his leg that requires the attention of a cardiovascular specialist.
“He has serious injuries, a small hemorrhage in his head and broken ankle. He is stunned and does not recognize the relatives ”, Cindy Pérez, daughter of the victim, lamented in dialogue with the newspaper El Heraldo.
Meanwhile, his relatives have reported the case to the Prosecutor’s Office and other authorities to find the fugitive driver and assured that “They have not received this demand.”
In the next few days they hope to transfer the injured man to a more complex hospital.
