“We can see the officials of the mayoralty of Puente Nacional, happy, drinking and doing their thing, blowing eggs on their heads even knowing the crisis that is taking place. It hurts me to know that those little eggs that are now lying on the floor may be for a person with limited resources who are in need at the moment, ”says one of the citizens who recorded.

The mayor of the municipality, Julio Vicente Niño, reproached this situation as soon as he saw the images, assured La Vanguardia, and announced that an investigation against the irresponsible was going to start.

“As soon as the video came to me, I informed the Police so that the procedures established in the law regarding those appearing were carried out.. We are going to officiate all these investigations to the control entities and we will be awaiting the results they give, “said the president, quoted by the newspaper.

According to Caracol Radio, Niño stated that he did not know what was happening at the mayor’s office because he was quarantining his home in a rural area of ​​the municipality.

The local president also indicated, according to the newspaper, that wasted eggs were not part of the markets to be delivered to the families most affected by the crisis.
