Nubia and her children achieved something that with effort and dedication they have earned: payment for their work as ‘youtubers’ by the online platform of Youtube, that had been accumulating since they began to make a profit and that had not been delivered to them due to the verification and security protocols of the company, which were being advanced.

According to Juliana Zapata, who supports the family in communications, the lot where the family resides belongs to a sister from Nubia and has a cost of 40 million pesos, so with the money they will receive, they plan to make an advance to buy the property that they consider their home and where they hope to build their own house one day.

Another good positive news that the family received these days, is that Jhonny Rivera, Los Montañeros and AKT decided to give them a motorcycle and even went to make the delivery.
Zapata denied the versions that indicate that the family would go to buy a house with the payment of YouTube, but also that that money had been donated in part by Jhonny Rivera and the Montañeros. “They are two different things. The family is very grateful and happy to have received the payment for their work, and then the motorcycle from Jhonnny Rivera, Los Montañeros and AKT“, he told EL TIEMPO.
Recently, the YouTube blogging section made a post highlighting the most popular content creators of 2020 in Latin America.
On the list are the Colombian channel ‘Nubia e Hijos’, made up of a peasant family from Chipaque, Cundinamarca.
“These months at home have also led us to discover new interests for those who before, perhaps we did not have enough time: For example, gardening in the hands of the Colombian channel ‘Nubia e Hijos'”, points out YouTube.
Till the date, Nubia gaona and his two sons have more than 650 thousand followers. They explain on their channel that they are a “humble peasant family tired of the losses with their agricultural products due to the high number of intermediaries”, and who decided “to become youtuber to teach people how to grow in their houses or apartments”.
The family rose to prominence this year thanks to their fun videos in which they teach different gardening techniques and give advice on environmentally friendly practices.
