José Javier Muñoz’s family says that for two years he traveled to that city in search of a better future for his family. There he worked as a cellar manager for a Spanish company. However, on October 3, he suffered a serious work accident.

“My brother fell from a height when he was organizing a merchandise which caused him severe head trauma, He was admitted to intensive care at the Malabo polyclinic, where he fell into a coma. On Wednesday October 6 he passed away “said Alba Muñoz, her sister.

The family requests help from the National Government to repatriate the body of the citizen, which is in a morgue.

We want you to collaborate to bring my brother’s body

“We want you to help us bring my brother’s body,” Alba added.

Family members point out that the company where the Caucao worked has stated that there are no flights to repatriate him, but from the airline they have stated that there is availability. They say that living only in that African country, due to culture and tradition, it is most likely that they will throw his body into a hole or bury it in a front garden.

“I don’t want them to leave him lying there, I want them to allow me to give him a Christian burial. There they will leave him lying in a grave, he does not deserve that,” said his mother, María Guevara, immersed in pain.

The woman added that her son was the one who answered for them financially.
