This Wednesday, in a new edition of his ‘Prevention and Action’ program, President Iván Duque made a new balance on the covid-19 pandemic in Colombia and the measures to confront it.

Along with Duque were several members of his cabinet. One of them was
Jonathan Malagón, Minister of Housing, who spoke on the No VIS housing subsidy that the Government will deliver.

In this regard, the senior official clarified that Colombians who already have a home can access the benefit, since 40,000 of the 100,000 places are destined to purchase a second home.

Malagón also said that these subsidies have already begun to be disbursed, and that so far 3,000 requests for analysis have been submitted by financial entities.
On the other hand, the minvivienda assured that “the announcements that the Government has made in the field of construction and building have had an impact on the levels of confidence (…), the purchase of a house was the component that recovered the most in that consumer confidence “, and stressed that this panorama is replicated in the business world.
