Nicolás Maduro sends message to Joe Biden after winning elections

After it was confirmed that Joe biden was elected as president of the United States, Nicolas Maduro wasted no time and already tried to contact the president-elect to speak and shorten distances between the United States and Venezuela.

With two messages on your Twitter account, Maduro tried to be diplomatic and congratulated the Americans for the election day that lasted 5 days. Then, he extended his greetings to Biden and his vice president Kamala Harris.

Maduro’s Bolivarian message was not lacking

In his greeting, the dictator mentioned Simon Bolivar and he remembered him as the liberator of “the homeland.”

Then he tried to bridge the gap with the new president by saying that Venezuela “She will always be ready for dialogue and understanding” with the United States.

During the campaign, the elected president had been linked by Donald trump with the dictator. In a propaganda, a video put the phrase “Progressive = Socialist” on a photograph of a meeting that Biden and Maduro starred during the inauguration, in January 2015, of the then president of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff.
