The incident occurred in the village of Granizal, in Bello, Antioquia, according to La Cariñosa of RCN Radio.
Following the alert from the community, the Police arrived at the site and found the scene.

Despite the fact that the meat of that animal is considered for human consumption, it generated rejection that the subject tried to eat it alive.
According to the authorities, the man violated sanitary regulations for the slaughter and subsequent consumption of the pig.
For this reason, he was charged with the crime against the life, physical and emotional integrity of animals, contemplated in the Colombian penal code.
“Although it is a species for human consumption, the slaughter procedure did not comply with the sanitary standards and procedures established by law,” said the police.
In addition, the subject of only 22 years old and of Venezuelan nationality, would be the first to be prosecuted for this crime in Colombia during 2020.
