Senator Gustavo Petro revealed a communication in which the non-payment of a fine before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce will be seized in the coming days. Petro will be seized and blamed Duque.
The senator showed the letter on Twitter, in which he is asked to cancel a fine, which does not specify if it is one of the ones imposed by the State for his management as mayor of the city and argues that it was President Iván Duque.
Petro, who is in Cuba, where he was undergoing health treatment, indicated that the president gave the order to seize him, who is his opponent.
However, Petro’s reaction caused controversy on social networks, since many were the ones who indicated that this is not so and that it is a communication far from the Government.
“This is the President of the Republic, Iván Duque, seizing his competitor and opponent from Colombia Humana from his office,” Petro said.
However, the debt was not imposed on him by the Duque government, but would come from a long time ago. It should be remembered that Petro has multimillion-dollar debts in force for issues such as lowering the TransMilenio tickets and for the management of garbage in its administration. None of these filed by Duque.
