The traffic agent identified as Jaime Beltrán Castañeda was recorded by a citizen who witnessed when he imposed a summons on a woman in the streets of Ibagué.
The witness of the procedure verified the license plate of the agent’s motorcycle and realized that it did not have the Soat up to date, so he decided to record while presenting the case to the community.

In the video, which circulates on social networks and was published by the journalist Javier Urrego, the citizen is heard making a claim to the traffic guard, who decides to push his Kawasaki motorcycle with the NDO 25A license plate.
Later, the agent stops the vehicle and calls the operations center, as the complainant indicated that he was going to hide the motorcycle so that they would not do anything to him.

In the heart of the city, on the busy 3rd race, the man who recorded the event followed the agent for a few minutes, who requested support to verify what was happening with his vehicle.
In the video you can hear the comments of agent Beltrán, who points out that the motorcycle was loaned to him and he did not know that he did not have the papers up to date.

“Let (other traffic officers) come and in her presence make the summons and immobilize her if they have to. They have every right to do so.”Jaime Beltrán said while being recorded.
Minutes later, in the video the complainant indicates that agent Beltrán left and left the motorcycle abandoned.
According to the Ministry of Mobility of Ibagué, the official was imposed the summons, for more than 800,000 pesos, and the vehicle was immobilized.
