News from Barranquilla: video of the rescue of two workers who hung from a ninth floor – Barranquilla – Colombia

A scare that they will never forget but that they can tell as an anecdote with a happy ending. That they took two workers who were suspended from the ninth floor of a building located in the north of Barranquilla this Thursday.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred when the two men were doing work at that height of the building and the scaffolding that supported them was emptied. The lifeline prevented the workers from falling and a tragedy occurred.

The event, which was recorded by amateur cameras, generated panic among residents who they saw how the strong wind swayed men dangerously. Therefore, the presence of the fire brigade was urgently needed from Barranquilla.

The body that helped the workers arrived minutes later and, in the face of falling objects, they had to help them directly from the nearest apartment where they were suspended.

After being insured, the shouts of joy and applause were heard in that area of ​​the city, while the firefighters who participated in the rescue notified them to the men who were safe.
