Transmilenio reported that around 5:20 in the morning this Thursday, criminals got on a zonal bus of the system, which covered the San Bernardino Potreritos – San Felipe route.
The SITP was passing through Calle 61 sur, with transversal 42, in the Candelaria La Nueva neighborhood, in the town of Ciudad Bolívar, when the thieves intimidated the driver, while robbing the passengers.
The robbers attacked the bus driver and a passenger.
The SITP operator was treated by lifeguards who arrived at the scene of the robbery, because fortunately his injuries were minor.
However, the passenger had to be transferred to Meissen Hospital, where he is stable, according to Transmilenio.
This new case of insecurity in Bogotá happens just one day after the massive robbery that occurred in a bus of the system that was moving through the La Resurrección neighborhood, in the town of Rafael Uribe Uribe.
In that robbery, two people were also injured, and a dozen more robbed.
